IN real LIFE by THE FRUIT BATS and VETIVER (Live EP)

It’s 1968 all over again these days–tons of stoner rock, lots of folk rock singer songwriters whose material could have been historical just as easy as contemporary. but that’s not always a bad thing.

After touring together to open for two Gallants, Fruit Bats’ and Vetiver‘s frontmen sat down to record a live acoustic set as part of the live At Spacebomb series.

The EP is four originals they played together on that tour, two by each performer, and two covers you’ve probably never heard of: Bobby Charles’ “I must be in A good place Now” and David Blue’s “Nice baby and the Angel.”

It is most excellent.
